Chief Psychiatrist

Dr. Tariq is an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist committed to delivering personalized and evidence-based mental health care. He has the experience of working with patients suffering from chronic mental health disorders resistant to treatment at Sarhad Hospital for psychiatric disorders and Shafique Psychiatric Clinic. He works in a multidisciplinary team comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health workers, nurses, and a medical officer.

From diagnostic assessments and tailored treatment plans in the outpatient department to his supervisory role in providing quality care in the inpatient unit, he works with a variety of conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, stress-related disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenia, and psychopharmacology. Dr. Tariq aims to cultivate long-lasting mental well-being by coordinating with the psychotherapy team.
